Lovely evening!
Jun. 10th, 2004 01:32 pmHad a lovely evening last nite. Sue was at graduation and so I went to the library and got 3 books (one of the the recommended Middlemarch from Michelle's blog) and 3 dvds. I planned and evening at home, dvd watching and knitting on charlotte until I got too tired to knit her.
(Lesson #33, charlotte hates to be knit when you are sleepy.)
I started at row 74 and ended on row 94. It sounds momentous, but in reality it feels much less so. It really takes so long to get through a row now, I somehow feel like I'm peddling backwards. I watched 2 L&Os while knitting and the movie Ghost World. WOW, great movie. I know I am late on the bandwagon on this, but I really can say I loved this film. Glad I rented it. Thora Birch and Scarlett Johanneson were great. Buscemi is ALWAYS great. Everyone in the movie had their own little quirk that made it so enjoyable. And the bollywood dance sequence at the beginning made my whole nite.
Since I feel like I've really accomplished some length in both my projects I'll take pics and post them tomorrow.
