Had a lovely evening last nite. Sue was at graduation and so I went to the library and got 3 books (one of the the recommended Middlemarch from Michelle's blog) and 3 dvds. I planned and evening at home, dvd watching and knitting on charlotte until I got too tired to knit her.

(Lesson #33, charlotte hates to be knit when you are sleepy.)

I started at row 74 and ended on row 94. It sounds momentous, but in reality it feels much less so. It really takes so long to get through a row now, I somehow feel like I'm peddling backwards. I watched 2 L&Os while knitting and the movie Ghost World. WOW, great movie. I know I am late on the bandwagon on this, but I really can say I loved this film. Glad I rented it. Thora Birch and Scarlett Johanneson were great. Buscemi is ALWAYS great. Everyone in the movie had their own little quirk that made it so enjoyable. And the bollywood dance sequence at the beginning made my whole nite.

Since I feel like I've really accomplished some length in both my projects I'll take pics and post them tomorrow.

I like projects that start out on the large side then get smaller as you get towards the end. I wonder if you could knit CW backwards?

hmmm..

but even when things are small, you can
still end up knitting them 6 times,
which would really count as something big...
even though it looks small.....

what's that I hear? oh yeah, that
pesky voice of experience. I wish it
would shut the hell up.

WWQ is 350 yds per hank and approximately dk weight (about 5.7 sts/inch, according to the label...it's weird, like 20 sts/3.5 inches or something odd like that)

20 rows is 20 rows closer to finishing! yay!

I love Ghost world. I could watch it a million times. Have you seen My First Mister?
