I really think the discussion that went on yesterday was quite good. Craft is art and art is craft. I'm reading 2 books right now that try to remind me to THINK DIFFERENTLY. Trying to turn the thought, word, deed around. Do it first and think about it later. Create something then think about the process. That way our preconceived notions of how it should look, or what I should do, and what is the proper way to do it don't get in the way of the creation of something. I don't think that following a pattern can necessarily mean that I am a thought-word-deed person, but the fact that I have many many designs in my head and I don't do anything but write them out for some unknown test-date later begs to differ.

My dad always used to say viola instead of voila. He also called all mushrooms fungus and our glasses our eyes. (my sister's penchant for not wearing hers would leave the comment "your eyes are on the floor") It is hard to believe that 2 years has gone by since he has been gone. I love remembering the things he used to say. He always made me laugh. In contrast, my uncle cannot say voila. He says something that sounds like WAWA and I really thought he wanted me to goto the convenience store instead of what he did ask.

I am working on the kidlet tank and my CW. I work on the kidlet at work during lunch. I work on the CW in the quiet of my home. I have not gotten back to where I ripped 2 weeks ago. In fact I just picked her up for the first time last nite. I did 4 rows and am 2 rows from where I was. I think she likes to sit in solitude sometimes. Personally I would like her to be done. I've let my river tank to sit as well. I want to get this kidlet done so bad. Has anyone else knit with cascade cotton called Rainbow? Any suggestions? It seems so loose, but very soft. I hope my niece likes it (and it fits her!!) Pics by friday.
