Thanks for all the comments yesterday about the lovely corset tank top. I drool just looking at it. I plan on making it in blues/purples b'c as a fair skinned blonde grrrl I doubt a gold tank would look good on me. I get that slightly seasick look wearing yellow. Its not a cheap present to myself.. but when is good yarn and coveted knitwear cheap? And lastly, the best part: I can tell Jennifer my color preferences before I meet up with her and she will dye some yarn specifically for ME!!
What I think is interesting is that the sizes for this corset START at a small being a 35 bust. Which makes me a medium. I looked at Annie's sizing chart for her designs.. she starts off with a xsml or even an xxsml and moves right up the whole spectrum of sizes. I think its lovely to see a designer who understands body types. Her sizing for the corset is different from her normal sizings for clothing, but I understand the difference. This is knitwear to wear against the skin.. not a sweater to wear over a t-shirt.
I believe someone stated that its about 88 days till the retreat.. so I'll just add that it is 88 days until I get the corset. PLENTY of time to save money.. haha!
