thank you. and since you've just worked with microspun (or as my friend roz called it: micro-unspun) you know how soft it is. just right for a baby.

thank you!!! I'll make sure Sue takes a pic of me and the godchild so everyone can see if it fits her or not.

Love the stuff! But yeah, it's not the easiest thing to work with. I'm a little afraid of my ends coming unwoven after washing. Crossing my fingers they hold!

I used knots. simply for the following reasons. if I did not put a knot in, the ends became unspun and unmanageable. whenever I got to the end of a skein I would knot it. I also knotted my needle and thread on both ends. without it I would not have been able to get anything done. tis a bit slippery for my tastes.

giggle. at least it only has to be pulled over the head. and only has one button on the back.

Oh yeah, all of my hanging ends have knots to keep them from fraying. But as I weave them in, I snip off the knots. I may have to actually tie knots in some places when I weave in the ends, but so far I've had seams to weave into, and they seem to be holding it OK.

So far.

I'll probably hand-wash the sweater, just to make sure that the whole thing doesn't fall apart!

Pretty!

funny, I wove in the ends and ADDED a knot. it was just to darn slippery for anything else. whatever works. :)

With the lacy-ness of the gown though, I'd totally go with knots, no questions asked! Stockinette though, I'm going to see if it holds. But I will probably tie a few knots (after weaving too) as well! Especially in the sleeves.
