I am declaring this as the birthday bash and am making extra food and a gingerbread cake. Feel free to bring something to share (or not) and bring your projects!

I hope it's not uncouth to ask a question in the same breath as I've given natal felicitation. I've seen you around phillyknitters and have read that you're a spinner. Can I shoot you some questions about spinning in the city? I have a friend who has always wanted to spin with a wheel (she's used a drop-spindle before, but that's it) and I want to explore getting her lessons for Christmas...

I'd probably point you in the direction of Lamb's Wool and the guild. There isn't much to spin around philly. then there is always the mannings, which isn't far.. but not in the city...
