where o where has purlewe gone?
Mar. 29th, 2004 10:21 amI am right here. I have just been too busy or too into a slump to do anything here online.
First: I took a class on the 20th from Annie Modesitt. I really had fun dying yarn. When people asked what kind of class I said "I have a dying class to go to." I got plenty of funny looks. most common question? Death and dying? hahaha! I met some really nice people, got to play with some amazing colors, and got to meet Annie who's blog I fairly often visit. http://www.modeknits.com/ I love her designs and I think she is a delightful person. She really made me want to go home and start working!
Did you hear a florish of trumpets? Jean and Jason's baby, Aeryn Chui-Ling, was born on February 21st, 2004. You may see pictures of her here. I finished Aeryn's baby sweater.
. I was really wanting to get this done. I thought it was so cute in Minnow Knits. It was really nice and I think they will like it. I hope it fits. I really want one for me now, without the tyes. Perhaps just some snaps, or buttons. I think it will be super easy to make an adult size version. It is only 5 squares!!! What do you guys think of it?
and a really big happy mail package came today. I got some nice roving and a spindle from Amy The note inside said hope you are ready for another addictive hobby. WEE! She sent it in one of her fluffy baby sheep bags. So very cute. I love it.
Lastly, my softball team is up and running! we had our 3rd practice yesterday and it went really well. We have alot of new players, but many of them have played before. The ones that haven't are doing really well. I think we are really going to have fun. keep your fingers crossed and send good wishes. I really want to have a great summer of softball and sun this year!
