Nov. 1st, 2004 11:18 pmI want it to be known that earlier today in my journal I posted my opinions. I did not say who I was voting for, altho I am sure it is pretty evident. I want people to know that there are viable 3rd party options on many ballots. (Nadar, for instance, is NOT on the PA ballot) And if you are not in a battleground state, please use your conscience, use your voice, vote how you see fit. Hell, even if you are on a battleground state vote your conscience b'c TRULY I don't care who you are voting for, I just feel it is so important to do it. This journal today reflects simply how I feel. I admit that towards the end I got a bit heavy handed. But I simply believe that you should vote. And that I frankly do not care who you vote for.. as long as you do it I don't believe it should matter what my opinions are... it should be your opinions that matter.

Date: 2004-11-02 12:12 pm (UTC)We are heading out in a couple of hours and I'm bringing M with me so she can see how it all works. I just hope she can keep her mouth shut and not tell people who they should be voting for. I've explained alot to her and now she will loudly tell anyone who is the right candidate. :)

Date: 2004-11-02 02:16 pm (UTC)I'm ok with her saying Kerry is going to be the next president - which she does. I just don't want to get in a fight with a Bush supporter. I'd hate for Moira to see mommy beat someone up at the town hall that is adjacent to the police station :P

Long Line? I have waited over an hour at my last polling station. While in line the woman behind me today said it was the longest line she had ever seen at this polling place. We both commented that it was wonderful just to see a line.
