And I hardly walked around NYC. I think it is just my whole body is tired.

I did have a lovely lovely time with my friend in NYC. And then we had a meal that I enjoyed so much I practically licked my plate (but I didn't cos we were in public) and we went to a new flea market that was so much fun to look at that I took a bunch of artsy fartsy fotos. Hanging with my friend Em was the bestest part though.

My SP gave me some really lovely things.. and I got to hug her in person. I wore the scarf ever since I got it. And the cowl/snood (OK it is a cowl, but I love to wear it as a snood) is great for helping keep my hair back. People were really lovely at the reveal and I enjoyed my day with them.

centolire on 86th and madison. I was pretty impressed with the food. I had chicken livers for appetizer (enough for 2 people) and pasta with mushrooms and butternut squash for dinner. Dessert was banana choc chip gelato and cookies with choc fondue sauce (for the table)

oh, delish. i don't know about the chicken livers, although k absolutely loves them (chicken liver peri-peri is his childhood comfort dish), but the rest sounds mouth-watering.

ok so I need a chicken liver peri peri recipe now. I love chicken livers and well.. everytime I think I haev found the BEST WAY to eat them I find a new way and I am in love again.

i'll send it to you! k's mom sent us the recipe, but i've never made it, of course. apparently, it's one of those things that they cooked pretty often when they didn't feel like really cooking and ate it on toast. i think you may need some kind of south african peri-peri sauce to do it properly, but i'll check.

I think that it would be fun to go out to dinner with people with the understanding that everyone would lick their plates afterwards.
