What I did on my summer vacation...

Well, my summer vacay was marvy and I had a lovely time in one of my favorite places: Provincetown. For those not in the know, P-town (as it is called) is on the tip of Cape Cod waaaay out there on the fingertips of Massachusetts. Imagine, if you will, an arm in the muscle-boy position. Those fingertips waving back at you is P-town.
Now the beauty of Ptown is revealed for those REALLY not in the know... Once a quaint Portuguese fishing village, Ptown is now a tourist (trap) hotspot, artist's retreat, and the biggest gay-town USA. It is one of the few places in the great old USA that you can walk down the street, holding your girlfriend's (or boyfriend's) hand, and not feel weird. Simply because you outnumber the hets (pardon the expression) like 10 to 1. This was my 5th visit to Ptown. It really does feel like home.
So while we were there, we spent an afternoon on the beach, and 2 days walking around. I took Sue out for one of my favorite restaurants: Martin House. Yummy gourmet food. We spent money on christmas presents. I bought a lovely leather winter jacket for 1/2 price. We had traveled with our friends D & R and had some good laughs with them. Then we said goodbye to the honking koi and drove home. The things I didn't get to do, but plan to do next time: walk out to the lighthouse (there are 3!) Do a dunes walk. And buy a piece of art. I took several art pics while there. I didn't want to bore you so I put some here and here.
