As a person who has said she probably would never knit socks (and not be sorry for it) I have decided to call my sock a toe-hat. I am knitting the thin from the toe-up and well, it looks like a toe-hat. The colors are very bright: green and blue. I have about an inch to go before I start the hell. (oops heel) which is the main reason I have not wanted to do socks. I have no problem with short rows that I know of.. its the idea of wrapping.. how does one do that? which direction? how exactly does it work? In this I am confused. I am reading quite a bit but in reality I figure someone will have to show me.

Last nite Sue and I went to have our teeth cleaned. It has been *mumble mumble* years since I have been to the dentist. Let's just say I lived in Boston and worked at a univ. that had a dental school which equals a free dental plan. Dental schools like to practice on their patients. So it goes something like this: oo.. that might be a cavity.. like 5 yrs from now.. let's drill now!! I haven't had the chance to drill in class yet. Great.. let's use experimental fillings.. cool. So I am not exactly fond of the dentist. But WOW! Sue's cousin Chris is a great dentist and she uses some amazing stuff.. she powerwashed my teeth instead of scraping. She told me that my teeth looked great (even if she was lying it made me feel good) and basically said that I really had no major worries other than needing a good cleaning. It took me 30 min (or maybe 40) to clean. My teeth ffeel good and I feel happy again.

Sue and I are leaving this weekend for the quilt class. Pictures on monday.
