weekends are never long enough
Jul. 12th, 2004 11:38 amfriday nite I went home and crashed.. which gave me plenty of energy for my saturday! Sue and I re-arranged the whole bedroom. *does a little dance* it is so much nicer. We each have our own side to the bed.. there is plenty of room to walk. and BEST OF ALL... (and I wasn't expecting it to happen) Sue got her dresser in the bedroom too. Which means no more early mornings dashing across the concrete/tile floor to reach clean clothes after her shower. (TMI? o well!)
So after we finished that (and in record time) I ripped back 12 rows on the bikini and started re-knitting it up again. We met up with some lovely ladies to see De-Lovely in the theater. It was quite de-lightful. I really would love to have the soundtrack because the music was wonderful and all of the guest singers were fabulous. Got back from the movie and I finished one whole boob of the bikini!! yippee.. I have started the second and if I get the time tonite I might even finish it too.
Our softball games were fun. We lost both of them, but on our second one we kept the opposing team to a very low score. We both came home just whipped from our games so we had a low key nite. I didn't knit anymore of the bikini because I know sleepy and concentration knitting don't mix. I've got a mindless St st on the side for such times. I read a few chapters of something fun.. (It is a re-read and highly recommended) titled Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader by Anne Fadiman (of Clifton Fadiman fame) LURVE it. If you are a constant reader who loves books as much as anything, I highly recommend it.
Came to work today in a downpour. *sigh* wet everything except my upperbody and hair, and I am sure that was just happenstance.
