pictures, here come the pictures.
May. 14th, 2004 10:36 amGot some good pictures for everyone, and then I am headed out of town for the weekend. Sue and I babysit the niece and nephew this weekend in Trenton. Then Monday we are spending the day in NYC for our first anniversary. Gonna goto a museum and some shops, perhaps stay late and hear some jazz... yummy.
Anywho, I have some pictures for you and then I'm gonna make a dash. First my MANNA bag for their charity auction. I'm excited because they gave me an invite and I am gonna go and bid on this made by Amy.
I've been dying to see one of her pieces in person and so I hope I get to bid on this next Friday night. She sells her pottery stuff online here.
OK OK OK. MANNA bag is here. The colors are pretty right on. Well, maybe a little richer. They are orange, hot pink, and maroon.
the christening gown. I know people have been asking about it (and yes, they are asking me if I will actually FINISH it too.. I will) I am going to work on the arms this weekend and hopefully that will be all she wrote. I bought a button at TW this week and I think I might get some ribbon. perhaps a lilac or light green. (not a real pink person and I think yellow will make this look off-white)
Lastly this is the tank I am working on for me. I've been calling it RiverTank in my head because it is made from River Tape by Rowan. (and I promise when its done not to do a RiverDance in it) I bought the yarn when Sue and I were in England this past winter holiday. We got 21 skeins of yarn (not all river tape!!) for about 42# which is about 84$ or 4$ a skein of yarn. I am making the slit neck tank in IK summer issue.
Have a great weekend!
