I am a photographer
I am an artist (even if it is in my own mind)
Visited because of GS:
Mexico (our cabana), Switzerland (our chalet), Germany (twice! once as a WO once as a counselor of Lachenwald), Czechoslovakia (before the wall went down), Berlin (after the wall went down), wyoming, NYC, DC.
Visited on my own:
Netherlands, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Strasbourg, Provence, Stratford upon Avon, London, Arizona, LA, San Fran, Canada, All of New England, Wyoming, CO, Most of the midwest, Kansas, Florida, Lake Tahoe
I have blown glass, it's really fun!
I have lived on my own since 1996. Never asking for help from my family.
I paid my own way through college (minus freshman yr), all 3 degrees.
I have worked 3 jobs and still pulled off a full semester of school.
Went through GS with top honors: gold and silver awards, 1 national op, 2 international ops, 1 job placement in Germany.
Can travel at the drop of the hat. Just tell me where and hand me a duffle bag.
engaged twice, married once, divorced once.
have fallen in love 3 times.
Am a great cook
Am a great knitter
Am a great friend
love spinning wool
have taken care of farm animals and know I could do it again.
climbed a pyramid in Mexico
Had my photographs published locally and nationally
ride my bike to work (for more than 2 yrs)
raised almost $4 thou in charity rides for cancer
sold enough GS cookies to send me to camp both nationally and internationally
lived on my own and loved my own company
been my own best friend
made friends who have been through thick and thin with me for over 20 yrs
made new friends and laughed my head off until the wee hours of morning
have been in the front rows of concerts.. more than once!
Been in a fire, and gotten everyone out of the building
Had a gun held to my head while my life was threatened.
Survived being an RA (see last 2)
buried my father
a lifetime girl scout
Driven across the country for a friend
Came out as bi 10 yrs ago
slept in a tent.. many different types.. platform tent, canvas tent, bottomless tent (in germany), teepee, outside under the stars, and outside in the snow.
Have primitive camped as well as car camped.
have gone skinny dipping
have taken a hike and cooled off in a glacial stream (sans clothes)
have travelled hundreds of miles because a friend called
have moved for love

the climbing one is going to have alot of help from you.
