Ok friends. I have tried with the code, I have tried with the embed. I have tried typing it out by hand. I have tried copy and paste by hand. I tried actually 10 different ways on a locked post to see if I could figure this out. I finally realized that the broken photo icon means you can right click and see it on a new page but WHY THE HECK DOESN"T IT SHOW THE PHOTO HERE. on the locked post I tried both instagram and google photos. I cannot for the life of me remember my old flickr account info and had abandoned it when I left LJ. I tried determining width and height thinking it was too big for the page. I tried 300x400, and 200x300 and still no image. I did find that I can put the photos on DW and then use their link but that is 100x100 and wth. nope. not that small for these aging eyes. I did find a way that IG would make a HUG 300x300 blank link for you to go to my IG page. but again. nope I want you to see it here. I am not stupid. And my wife looked over my work and agrees I typed it all correctly. so what is the issue? are my images to dense (I have a high pixel count?) I dunno. I am bummed and giving up for the night.

I lied. I tried one more time using DW embed and for some unknown reason it is NOT 100x100 and it is close to 700x900 and I will take it for the night.

and in case anyone was interested. we got the spring rolls from ba le, and the pickles as well. I mean I can make my own pickles but a whole little jar of pickles already made? sure!
