For those of you wondering what the h-e-double hockey sticks I look like I am enclosing this picture of Sue and I on the beach at LBI this weekend.

Anj and Sue

note that hat I am wearing (I am on the left you guys) was made by none other than KR buddy and bloggy friend: Amy! (yes, darling, I wear it every-wear.. haha)

Next is a pic of a purse commissioned by my boss for her mom this past christmas. It was made of Manos and was a dream to knit up. loved the colors and the way it felt. (and felted, even!)

Bobbi's purse

Had a lovely time tonite at the tangled web knit-in. too bad my hand was not all there.. very tiring to knit with a gimpie hand. I loved getting to meet some KR people: rozcar and marfa. Yippee! new people to knit with. Marfa was making a gorgeous scarf with yarn from the maryland wool fest. and rozcar was knitting up her 2nd sock in a nice kureyon. ah, yarn envy. I was knitting on judy's purse, picked up some yarn for 2 new beaded bags and something for sue's mom.

good night folks. enjoy the picture goodness.

someone last nite at the knit in commented on what a lovely hat it was and told me that it "suited my head fine." sometimes when it gets bitter cold I wear an earwarmer under it. but it is my hat and everyone knows it. THANKS!

When one gets to spend a weekend at the beach (with one relatively warm day) at a condo for free with one's girlfriend, and is pampered by said girlfriend with lovely food and tokens of affection... one cannot help but put on a large smile.

Cheesy smiler on the right

Did you use a particular pattern for your bag's, especially the one you made for your boss' Mom. This is exactly the type and shape of bag I have attempted to make, but failed! Any tips would be most helpful, I'd love to make one just like this for my Mom for her birthday in June.

Thanks,
