purleweI've had a pretty good week, knitting wise. I got a great catalogue from Halcyon yarn (www.halcyonyarn.com) both their yarn catalogue and their equipment cataolgue. It was BEAUTIFUL. And I want to buy everything. But I am restrained. I have no fundage for now. The next things I buy will be DK weight and/or Fingerling weight yarns for the baby things I should be knitting. (I *will* be knitting, I just have somethings in my bag to finish up first.)
Then I've been emailing some knitting people. I got a great email from Amy (http://www.theboogerblog.blogspot.com/) saying she received her present I got her in London for her birthday. I was so very happy with my hat she made me, and I wore it all over London. I figure two December babies need to stick together. It is hard to have people remember your birthday when it is so close to the holiday. Besides, if I can't share my obsession with a person who loves knitting as much as I do, who can I share it with? I talked with Michelle from London too. All good convos about our trip. All in all a very busy week and it is only wednesday.
Tonite. Knitters circle at Tangled Web (http://www.tangledwebb.com) in Chesnut Hill. I WILL NOT BUY YARN but perhaps some needles. I do see needles in my future.
