feeling like snowdrops

purleweI put this shawl away while I finsihed my secret pal present, learned socks (thanks Amy), took a quilt class, and started a cross stitch.. but thankfully it wasn't mad at me when I went back to it. I still have to pick up the sts for the edging, but I want to do that after I have gotten some holiday presents done. I really love it and plan on using it until I do get those sts picked up, because its HUGE!!! Even without blocking.
And here is a closeup so you can see her colors. Details: Morehouse Merino laceweight in 3 colors. Pattern by yarnharlot. Don't you just love how the colors blend?
My dream? to pick up the sts and finish her before Rhinebeck. Yarnharlot is supposed to be coming and I would love to meet her and show it to her in person. I can't wait to see it blocked out. Something about the blocking that just makes those holes and colors POP! Even if I don't get her done by then it won't matter. I know she is all mine.
