let's talk about.. knit, baby.
Dec. 20th, 2006 12:43 pmI got those socks done. YUP. Socks for me. In the yarn Bev gave me for my birthday. They are awesome and I adore the color. Bittersweet. Just like the dried flowers I loved as a child. (pics at my knitblog. If you want me to post the pic here instead, holla)
I've been knitting on my aunt's mittens. I haven't gotten them done, but I got them 3/4 of the way done. I hope I finish them BEFORE this weekend. I want to wash and block them before the new year.
I want to take with me to Sue's folks: silk bell and my bosworth for laceweight silk. My secret pal final present. The wedding shawl that I stalled on b'c I was pissed off at it and wanted to rip the whole thing out.
What I won't work on until that shawl is done: baby sweaters (2 or 3 depending on if Sue wants me to knit one for her SIL), my own shawl in my laceweight, Sue's sweater until AFTER I wash and block the sleeve.
I need to block Parker's blocks for her afghan. This is something I keep promising myself I will finish for her and I don't. Some friend I am. I did vaccuum the rug today. Perhaps I can start blocking tonite??
NONE of these are holiday presents except the mittens. And I might slip in Dan's robot once I get the book from Cyn thru Jill. I will start that fiber nite next week if she comes.
I know I have tons of projects. I guess I never really THINK of them as tons of projects. I know I am NOT listing all of them here. Just the ones I can remember. I am dangerous that way.
