hooray for volleyball!
Jan. 10th, 2007 09:32 amLast nite was the first game of the season. We actually have a team that can PLAY. OMG. I know that sounds dorky but I haven't been on a team that could play in yrs. We have always been better than last but really that is all we have been.
So it was good to get out and sweat and play ball last nite. We tied with the team that won last yr. Which is like HUGE since they have been playing together for about 10 yrs. They are good, really good. What is also nice about last nite is that the first game of the season doesn't count. Just relaxed play with some time to get to know the other players.
I went home and had dinner while Sue graded papers. I spent the rest of the evening on the couch getting that tubular cast on right. I am excited to start another project even though I know I already had too many projects on the needles. I will even start another this weekend. This new project is for ME but the one this weekend is for a baby and I need to get it done before the tyke shows up.
So hooray for volleyball and hooray for new projects. I just wish I could stay home and play all day.
